OCEANIC CLIMATE
Renowned for its mild Anjou climate, the vineyard benefits from a temperate oceanic climate, with limited rainfall.
3 TYPES OF SOILS
SHALE

Rich in minerals and well drained, it gives minerality, lively acidity and aromatic complexity. It also produces reds with structured tannins, suitable for aging. A perfect soil for Chenin and Cabernet Franc.
CLAY-LIMESTONE

Suitable for the production of round, fresh wines with harmonious tannins, particularly for Cabernets.

SANDS AND GRAVELS
Draining and quickly warmed, they produce light, airy and fruity wines.
